2005 Cabernet Blend
Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot
A balanced wine with fine grained tannins and evident Cabernet characteristics. Coming into its own now. This is a wine to be drinking now or over the next 2 years while waiting for the 2006 to come out of the cellar.
There aren't too many 2005s on the market at the moment, certainly not looking as good as this one.
2005 was a good year for warmth and ripening: the wine is beautifully integrated and packed with flavour.
2007 Cabernet Blend - NEW RELEASE
Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot
Released last June, this one is made up of 95% Cabernet/Merlot and the remainder Petit Verdot. Elegance and balance with fine tannin and a ripe fruit character are evident. This gives a wine that's seductive now being rich and intense, but patience will reward because of the cellaring potential.
